DV50 codec for PC’s?
I used to have a link to a company that sells the DV50 codec for use on PC’s but I must have deleted it from my favorites folder.
I need to export DV50 clips from FCP to a PC platform (Streamclip) for compression. Anyone remember which company sells this package?

Why don’t you export from FC as .avi DVCPro50? I think PC’s can play it.

However, if you are using MPEG StreamClip for Encoding, Its available for the mac for free. You cna find links and such at the apple site.

Raylight is the product I was trying to remember.
Actually, when I refered to Streamclip I meant the Digital Rapids “Stream” product. (I use Streamclip just about everyday and the name was stuck in my head) The Digital Rapids device is a hardware encoding box that can take a file and transcode/encode it into numerous different formats all in one pass. We usually do an mpeg1, mpeg2 , WMV, and Quicktime version of the original file. I would like to be able to take the sequences that I edit in the DV50 codec and bring them directly into the Digital Rapids box for conversion. I like the device since I can get multiple formats out of it all in real time. Very quick and fast. Since it is based on a PC processor, I was looking for the codes to allow me to take the DV50 codec right into the Digital Rapids.
Much faster than software encoding but a pain when working with DV50 or DV100 formats.
