DV to HDV questions
I’ve been working in 4:3 DV (DVX100A), and am now working with the 16:9 Sony HVR-Z1U. I have a few questions:
1. My browser tells me my frame size is 720X480. What do I need to do to get my frame size to be 16:9?
2. I’ve set my capture settings at 1080i and seemed to be able to capture footage, but the compressor column in the Browser tells me it’s DV/DVCPRO – NTSC. What does this mean in terms of my clip being DV or HD?
3. What do I need to do in order to be properly set up to capture 1080i?Thanks,

Do an easy set up and choose your flavor of HDV then create a new project.
