DV print to video via firewire
I know I’m still in the dark ages here, but I still primarily capture and print to video over Firewire (Sony DSR-11 and Panasonic DVC Pro 25).
I’ve read on Apple’s site that FCPX *CAN* capture from DV, but everything I’ve seen indicates that it *CANNOT* print to video (that is, at least without using a third-party capture card I’m not going to buy).
Can somebody please confirm or deny this?

The MacPro is still running regular Leopard, the poor, old, tired G5 (powerPC) was scheduled for replacement “sometime after FCPX is released.” And now, it turns out, my personal computer at home (Macbookpro late 2006) which was *GOING* to get FCPX first (to evaluate) apparently doesn’t have the graphics card it needs.Oh well 🙂

Has anyone answered this print to video question. I shoot weddings and have to send in tapes to wedding companies. I have to print to video. I know it’s dark ages stuff but it is my bread and butter so I have to have this question answered before I buy.
