    Hey!
I’m editing a showreel for an actress and I’m having problems with the vd footage ripped from a dvd.
If I playback the file in vlc or look at it in the Source window it looks fine, if a look at in in the program window or export it looks jagged. What could be the problem? If tried all different setting in pixel ratio and progressive scan rendering but the render looks always jagged.
Any help would be so mich appreciated, im desparate!
    Best Regards, Simon

If you export an interlaced DVD file out to Deinterlaced you will lose half the resolution and get what look like jaggy edges.

Can you post a screen grab of what you are seeing and supply the settings used in the seq, the export and what the clip settings are too.
