DV from Final Cut Express???
I’ve never used Final Cut Express myself, so I’d appreciate help from anyone with FCE knowledge.
A client is bringing in video captured in FCE from a Sony PD-150. He sent me the project file, which showed that one of the files he had captured had audio at 48000.9khz instead of the customary 48khz. Can I assume this was pilot error on his part and that it will most likely playback out of sync, thus requiring recapture?

I don’t know that the audio would necessarily be out-of-sync.
Regardless of sample-rate, the audio plays based on SECONDS, not samples.
But PD150’s are not known for “odd” sample rates (unlike some Canon camcorders, which seem to ignore all known standards for audio.)
Just play the file and see.
You can always re-capture. -
