    Marsha,
    I urge you to stop before spending any money on equipment! A forum post on a great community like the cow will give you direction but there is no substitute for experience. We can’t teach you everything you need to know nor anticipate all problems you may run into during your project. Don’t paint yourself into a corner. Before you shoot a single frame of your movie find a reputable seasoned video professional and hire them as a consultant. Explain your goals and show them your equipment. They will work with you to develop a work flow. They will know the pitfalls you will run into and how to avoid them. This will be the best money you spend on this project because it will save you countless hours of work and ultimately more money down the road.
