DV 60i?
Posted by Crystal Smith on May 1, 2009 at 3:00 amHello! I shot some standard 4:3 DV on the same tape as some 60i footage. Turns out my DV 60 i footage is washed out and not as clear compared to my standard DV. Does anyone know a way to convert it so my footage looks the same?

May 1, 2009 at 5:13 pmI worked with two cameras
Canon XH A1 filmed in DV 60i, which you say is regular DV
I also shot with my GL2 in standard DV
But for some reason the XH A1 (labelled DV60i on the top right of the LCD screen) looks like a cheap camcorder (washed out and not as crisp)
Which is so strange because the XH A1 is a more expensive camera!
It is like I’m missing some simple key to just change it to the right format, but they are both DV – NTSC shot in SP mode.
Any suggestions? -

All the best,

November 30, 2009 at 5:43 amActually help me out then. I recorded SD 60i with a Canon XHA1, looks good and crisp on the camera’s LCD. Capturing through FCP looks horrible with DV-NTSC easy setup, image is blurry and I have researched online and have tried EVERTHING. HELP???
