My object falls on the floor and then I want to make it looks like there comes dust from the floor beneath the object.

    Something like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LfdSqfR93U4

What would be the best way to achieve this?

Just as that example was done in Maya using fluid dynamics, you would need to use fluid dynamics in C4D to get similarly realistic effects. TurbulenceFD can do it, as well as RealFlow, and possibly X-Particles 3 with its new fluid effect capabilities. As far as I know, without a fluid dynamics plug-in you could only fake it with particles and effectors in C4D. I’m just a hobbyist using an older version (R13), so perhaps some real experts can chime in with other suggestions.

Okay, thank you for your reply, I am going to change my idea a bit and do this in adobe after effects with some smoke.
