  • dupplicated frames after importing footage in FCP

Posted by Sven Hanten on November 7, 2006 at 9:03 pm

    Hi,

I got problem with some HD footage (1080p25, Photo-JPEG90%).

When I import the footage and place it in the tieline randomly every 5-9 frame is duplicated. Thinking of frames in numbers it would look like: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 11, 13, …

Nothing is to render in the timeline, the line is grey.
When I view the footage in a quicktime player everything is alright. Every frame is OK.

    Any sugestions?

    System:
    FCP 5.1.2
    QT 7.1.3
    OS X 10.4.8
    Quad Xeon 2,66
    2GB RAM

    Kind regrads,
    Sven

    You’ve got a duplicate posts problem too! Maybe it’s a virus. 🙂

Sounds very much like your timeline has the wrong frame rate, or your material.

    Check your sequence settings.

    My God! It’s trippplicating!

There’s no need to start a new post for the same topic Sven. People will respond eventually and multiple posts tends to break up the colaborative responses of everyone. 🙂
