duplication of project file
having had a few corrupt project files in fcp…
i’ve been getting under the habit of dupliating each project file in order to have a backup.the question is…will this copy continue to work with the original file as well (all the changes and edits we make etc) or do i have to duplicate the file after each edit session.

Each copy you make is frozen at that moment. You’ll want to keep making copies. Put the date and time in the name of the copy and you’ll know exactly ‘when’ you are going back to when you open one.
