duplicating the timeline
So, I used to know this but…well, I guess I have forgotten. I want to duplicate the timeline in my FCP 6 project, not the project file, just the timeline. I want to try a radical edit but I don’t want to lose the timeline I have now. How the ^%$^$!! do I do that? I’m sure it’s a simple operation in fact I’ve done it before but for the life of me, I have no idea. Please help.

Right click on the sequence in the Bin and select Duplicate.

And I missed a chance to say, “RTFM.”
Pretty basic stuff guys.The OP mentions making a “radical edit” and my advice at that point would be to save the project with an incremental name and continue work on the new version.
