I am new to Encore (CS3 on a PC). I am trying to use one menu screen I have set up as a template for other screens which are going to look similar, but just different title and button text and different footage linked to the buttons.

When I duplicate a menu, it copies everything, except the buttons lack some graphic elements. For example, I am using “executive button 1” from the corporate menu set, and when I copy the buttons, the little arrow doesn’t come with, just the text.

This should be such a simple thing to do – duplicate a menu. What gives?

    Thanks

    – CW

“The little arrow” sounds like a subpicture layer. It’s there, you just don’t see it by default.

To see it, click the ‘Show Activated’ button at the bottom of the Menu editor window.
