Duplicating main comps
I swear I’ve done this before, but I also know I’ve had issues with this before… I’ve animated a main comp with several nested layers of pre-comps. I am trying to build different versions to show client – i.e. one with a stoke that draws on the logo, one where the logo just fades up, etc. etc.
In the project pane, I duplicated the main comp and renamed it according to the corresponding “new look”… but it’s not independent from the original comp… I thought duping a comp from the project panel created a new independent comp? Does it not? Can you not do this?
