Duplicating frames problem when footage imported
hi wondering if someone could help me..
im importing mpeg files that i captured using premiere pro 2 when i put the clips into after effects they seem to be duplicating about 3 frames in certain parts of the foootage giving it a jerky look.. i have viewed the raw footage and there is no duplication only in after effects..
i have also tried starting all over with a new project file and the footage still duplicates in exactly the same places .. it does this with nearly every file i am importing to after effects..
PLease help>>>??

Can you open the MPEG in Quicktime Pro and export to a different codec, such as Photo-JPEG, Animation or an uncompressed 8-bit codec?
AE may not like MPEG, since that is a delivery codec, and AE prefers higher-quality, lower-compression intermediate codecs like the ones I mentioned.
