Is there any easier way to duplicate tracks other than copying to the clipboard. I’m transitioning from Edit to Avid and their way is so much easier.

Copy and paste doesn’t seem to work….

    Any help is greatly appreciated….

    Thanks so much…..

I usually create the necessary duplicate audio tracks and with the audio in the source window hit “B” to fill the tracks. An easy way to copy the track AND place it in the source window at the same time is to:

1-place playhead over the clip you wanna copy

2-hit “T” to higjlight the clip in tp out

3-hit control + alt + C to copy to clipboard and paste into source window… one step 🙂
