    Hi Everybody,
I apologize if this has been covered, but I couldn’t find a final answer to this problem.

I installed keylight, not realizing that it came preinstalled with AE CS3. Now when I open AE I get the duplicate plug ins error message for dozens of plug ins! After clicking OK on each error screen AE locks up before it’s launched.

What’s going on here? Do I need to uninstall and reinstall the whole package?

    I’m on Mac OS 10.5.2

    Thanks,
    Bob

Try uninstalling The keylight that you initially installed. this will solve your problem for that plug-in. As for the rest check your plug-in directory and make sure taht you dont have duplictaes there also. This happened to me before and removing the duplicates from my system worked.

Thanks Jack for your reply. I tried to uninstall the keylight but that’s not offered as an option with the installer. The thing is, I don’t actually have duplicates of any of the plug ins that AE thinks are duplicated. It’s a brain teaser…
