duplicate named clips
Posted by Jay Curlee on February 3, 2011 at 7:09 pmHas anyone run into a situation where the EX-1 camera has created duplicate identical file names for clips which are different? What causes this issue?
Thanks,
Jay

Yes.

I’m not sure. My original EX1 did that and I know I didn’t hit “RESET ALL” in the menu to make it happen. Early firmware glitch perhaps? Maybe it’s time to send your camera in for the upgrade as long as you don’t mind losing 2 minutes of recording time on a 16G card.
Sorry about not being more helpful.

Or are you sure your not seeing spanning on long recordings?
You’ll see a clip like ABC_1234_01 the ABC_1234_02
