When I google my question I get answers regarding copying the node’s changes to another clip but that’s not what I want. I have a clip. I’ve qualified the skin tones and made my corrections. Now, I want to take that same node, since I’ve isolated the skin tones so perfectly, and duplicate it so I can invert the mask and tweak the rest of the image. In other words, right click the node and choose “duplicate”. Seems like a simple enough thing to do.

You can make an outside node after a node that has a power window and/or a qualifier so you’ll get anything but that selection. There’s also multiple ways to copy information from nodes to another nodes. Page 882 “Copying Nodes and Node Settings” chapter has those covered.

As usual I found the answer right after I posted but forgot to come back here. Copy “C” the node you want to copy the attributes from, and paste “V” into the new node. But thanks for answering, Tero.

I’d still suggest trying out using the outside node or learning how to route mattes from a node to a different node. It’ll come in handy at some point.
