Activity Forums Sony Cameras dump to 2 hard drives simultaneously?

    No, unfortunately this is not supported in either application.

    Shotput Pro will do what you want, but of course it’s not free like the Sony Software. And I think it’s Mac only.

    Speaking of Clip Browser… I had two monitors connected and my ‘export avi’ window I had moved to the second monitor. After I disconnected the second monitor I could not reset my Clip Browser windows to show up only on the first monitor. I uninstalled the iterations of the browser (1.2 and 2.6) and reinstalled, deleted all possible entries in the registry that said XDcam or clip browser, uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times – NOTHING worked. Windows 7 knew there is only one monitor and adjusted everything accordingly, but not the Sony software! I had to physically attach another monitor and drag the window back to the first monitor (phew!) to get it back! Similarly if you happen to close one of the browser or preview windows no resetting would get it back. No ‘Window Layout Default’ would reset it.
    I guess Sony is not a software company. They just make good cameras.
