I’m using the JVC DR-MV5S deck to dub a mini DV to DVD via a firewire connection from a camcorder. Just trying to figure out whether I should select “AUDIO 1” (records original stereo sound played back on the connected DV equipment) or “AUDIO 2” (records dubbed stereo sound played back on teh connected DV equipment), or MIX (records sound of both Audio 1 and Audio 2).

Can anyone tell me the difference? Not sure if it helps, but the DV footage was recorded in 12bit.

    Thanks for your help!
