    sorry to be so stupid but I was told to try a “dual pass high quality compression” setting in compressor to try to alleviate a digital hits problem when exporting fcp projects. problem is, i don’t know how to change the settings in compressor. can anyone help me with this? i need a step by step because i’m a fcp moron.

    It’s a preset. You don’t have to change anything. use the “high” quality presets that are already there. Use the shortest one you can… i.e. a 90 minute preset if your show’s less than 90 etc…
