Does Vegas and DVD3 support dual layer dvd writers. I’m having trouble writing to a dvd. I started having trouble making a presentation on dvd for my wife’s school. Just out of the blue my writer wouldn’t write. So I called LiteOn and had me download new firmware. Didn’t work. Bought new LiteOn, and installed this morning, and still won’t write. DVD3, Ulead Movie Studio, Ulead Video Studio 9 & 8, will not longer write to DVD. Guy at LiteOn told me that I should try uninstalling all my software, Vegas,DVD3, all my Ulead software, PowerDVD, and Nero. HELP

DVDA 3 does support dual layer.

Does your burner appear in your device manager and show that it is working properly?

Yep, sure does. I am boggled. Don’t know what to try next. I noticed that it using a windows driver, so I am going try to go to Liteon’s website and download their driver for it.

I don’t want to write to a DL. I am trying to figure out why my DVD-WR won’t burn any DVD’s anymore. Even bought a new one and still does the same thing.
