Dual Layer DVD with Short Video and All the Rest as Data
Does anyone know if it is possible to create a dual layer DVD with about 2 GB of video on the first layer, and the rest of the first layer and all of the second layer as data?
I have made plenty of discs with the first layer being DVD video, spanning just to the second layer and then filling the rest of the second layer with “extras,” but this time I have more data than will fit on one layer.
If you have seen this – even if you did not author the disc – I would love to know that it is possible. Encore won’t allow it, I’ve tried several different options in Toast, and I’m now trying to learn PgcEdit to see if that is an option. No luck yet. This just may not be possible in the DVD standard.

If you do the data as a still in a movie? DVDSP can do this.
