I installed a second hardrive in my 2011 17″ macbook pro, When I had my events and projects on the second drive all was well. When I installed an OS I can’t see the events and projects on the second internal drive.
Why is is that I FCP won’t see the events and projects folders both a the top level and in the user folder. I have them in both places. It just doesn’t see the drive at all? Any way to fix this?

I bet your drive isn’t formatted as HFS+.

FCPX won’t ‘see’ ExFat or any other File system other than HFS+. You’ll have to move them, reformat and move them back.

I didn’t reformat the drive. I just installed an Mountain Lion OS. GUID format. Before I installed the OS FCP saw the folders fine. Now it doesn’t.

Fcpx doesn’t show the second drive as an available hard drive?
