Dual Core Effectively Used?
When rendering with Vegas 6, how I can know if I am effectively using the Core 2 Duo processor on my Dell 390 workstation?
When I open Windows Task Manager I don’t see two processes that deal with rendering and I don’t see CPU performance at capacity. Any suggestions?

Open up Task Manager and select the Performance tab. You should see two graphs, one for each core. When you render, each graph should increase close to 100%.
In Vegas, go to Options/Performance/Video tab. “Maximum number of rendering threads” should be 4.
