I am trying to find a solution to a rather unusual post production problem.
I have a film that is to be played in an art gallery.
It is a conversation between two gentlemen, each on his own screen.
Other than the PC only Stereoscopic player, does anyone know a simple app that will allow the two quicktimes to be played in synch on two screens? The problem with Stereoscopic player is its reliance on WMV files that are quite compressed and do not stand up so well to a big screen.

Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

WMV looks bad? Couldn’t you use a better compression. I’ve seen WMVs that look pretty good.

It could be that I am being put off by the fact that a 42gb quicktime ends up as a 2 gb wmv. (The film is 3 hours long) I am also after a mac solution.

The problem is the screens are 6 foot across so any compression artifacts show.

I have been using flip for mac to export from fcp, but windows media encoder does not like the files it makes.

    James 🙂
