    Description of the project:
I authored DVD on DSP using Standard Menu with the custom psd background. It’s a standard definition 16:9. Anyways, as for buttons, I dropped in standalone custom graphics in the button areas, for example, an rectangle graphic that says “Play All”, etc. To differenciate the button states, I used mild-opacity black overlay for normal stated so buttons are darker when not selected, 0 opacity overlay for selected, and the white overlay for activated state.

    Here is the problem.
When any button is activated, the current menu kind of pauses and all the button overlay disapear before it goes to a commanded destination, giving an impression that the all the menu buttons kind of flash at the same time.

This only happens on DVD players (tested on consumer Sony, Toshiba, Panasonic), but never on Mac (either DSP simulation play nor built & formatted DVD).

I’d like to get rid of that behavior. Is there any solution?
