DSLR Shoulder Rigs; Suggestions?
Posted by Chris Pagoria on November 11, 2013 at 6:46 pmA good DSLR shoulder rig can run $1000+ As an independent filmmaker, thats a budget buster!
Does anyone have suggestions on budget friendly shoulder rigs??????I found this shoulder rig on Kickstarter for $69 that is pretty cool

November 11, 2013 at 10:07 pmWhile it’s pretty cool looking, spend a couple of hours using it, and you’ll find it’s a cool looking torture device. No apparent padding for the shoulders or padded grips for the hands? Come on!
You can find these for from 29.95 to 75 dollars in a number of places. I suggest you don’t spend more than 35 bucks for it – try it out – see how it works for your equipment – then either put it in the closet, or use it all the time. I have one, and while it’s not a Cadillac, it allows you to work with one hand (or even no hands), and is quite well balanced:

March 5, 2014 at 12:28 pmCAmtree hunt the second dslr shoulder mount rig I’ve bought because I loved the first one so much.
Got a second camera and had to get a dedicated rig for it. It does take a while to get used to it, but that’s why it’s ADJUSTABLE. Adjusted to where it is comfortable to your needs.
Love this product for its portability.

March 19, 2014 at 11:05 pmHere is what we have been using to shoot events for over 3 years now. I designed it myself.
It uses only one Anton to power the mixer, wireless mic, camera, lights and the shotgun mic.
Basically its like shooting with a camcorder and be able to focus and zoom same time. It has
a tigger on the hand grip so you dont have to take your hands off the grip. Also has sony standard
quick release plate to quickly remove from the tripod.
