DSLR iris lighting issues in video??
I have some video I am trying to edit. It’s travel footage shot out doors on a Nikon D7000. When editing the footage I am noticing consistently that when the camera is panning I am getting sudden lighting differences from the camera iris. It’s not a lens flare, more like the camera is compensating to adjust for lighting conditions or the metering is self adjusting (even though it was shot on Manual mode).
What is the best/most efficient way to edit this on FCP and correct the video. I don’t just want to cut the pieces out. Is there any manual workaround to smooth the quick changes in light?
Thank you in advance for any advice!
