  DSLR Footage Screener

  We’re shooting more DSLR footage and I’d like a way to properly screen and make EDL’s that can import into Avid Media Composer for linking via AMA.

  We currently do this with Sony XDCAM footage via Sony’s PDZ-1 software which you can create a simple EDL with which we export as an AAF file. That file is imported into Avid and shows up as an offline sequence, we batch import the clips and voila, footage is there.

  Is there equivalent software that can do this with QuickTime movies made with DSLR camera?
