Activity Forums DSLR Video DSLR banding issues?

    Sorry Ravi, I don’t have any first hand experience with Nikon video.
    So I Googled “Nikon D90 video, banding problem” you might want to do the same, seems you’re not alone with the problem.

    The problem is that in many places the current is not constant 50Hz or 60Hz and many domestic fluorescents doesn’t gives a constant flicker.
    TVs normally have constant flicker because they need a constant current to keep picture in sync, so they have stabilisers.

    The banding issue was an issue. I didn’t want to keep editing it in post.

    I was due for a new camera anyway so I bought a new one with 25p! Bruddy Nikon!
