  Dropped Quicktime File

  This is so wierd. I’m editing just fine, doing some back and forth from FCP to ST, and then wham! A missing QT file. Not just a rendered file, but a main capture file with about 45 minutes of footage. I looked in the hard drive it should have been and it was gone. I know I can re-capture the tape using the same name and the timecode should all match up, but what happened here? I’ve never seen this before.
