    Hi there,

I´m a quite irritated – we have the new iMac Retina i7 16GB M295X and a Pegasus R6 Raid; running Yosemite and MC 8.2. We have a Blackmagic UltraStudio Express but not yet connected.
We have 1080p25 XAVC material from a Sony F5 and linked it with AMA without transcoding it yet.
Playing the material in the timeline we got heavy playback issues (sound out of sync after a few seconds, red dropped frames markers in the timeline). And meanwhile the quality mode is yellow (not yellow/green or green).
I don´t know why we´re facing these issues – I don´t believe that this could be a hardware performance problem :-/

    Any ideas?

Just wanted to add, that on a MacBook i7 with MC 7.0.3 and the same project data no playback issues occur. :-/
We try to install 7.0.3 on the iMac now or we have to go on on the MacBook – that´d be totally absurd…

Hmm, we´ve unstalled 8.2, installed 7.0.3 but it skips starting up looking for a specific file – maybe OSX 10.10 and 7.0.3 are not compatible…

[Rafael Metz] ” maybe OSX 10.10 and 7.0.3 are not compatible…”

They aren’t. MacOS 10.10 is only compatible with Media Composer 8.2
