I am unable to digitize more than 30 or 40 seconds of video from my HV20. I’m using the HDV, 29.97, HDV – 1080i60 FireWire Basic easy set up & the video looks great but it just won’t digitize more than a few seconds without stopping down for dropped frames… I’ve tried the ‘uncontrollable device’/capture now setting and that permitted almost two and a half miuntes of video before stopping down for dropped frames. The ‘abort capture on dropped frames’ setting was NEVER even turned on and it still stops down for dropped frames. I tried the ‘create clip on dropped frames’ and it still sops down. Are there any camera settings that I should be aware of?
