dropped frames (didn’t happen before)
Hello all,
I’ve been using a deckliink pro card with a Mac dual 1.42 (10.3.9) attached to an X-Serve to successfully capture 8bit SD from a Sony J-3 for a couple of years now.
A recent twist of software events caused me to re-install a new operating system and software on another of my internal drives. I went with OSX 10.4.5 FCP 5.04 and the 5.5 version of the decklink software. Now I can’t capture more than 10-15 seconds without dropping frames. If I boot back to the 10.3.9 drive I can.
Other than expecting my 3 year old mac to run a current operating system am I missing something.
