  Dropped Frames

  Ok, i know this has been flogged to death but i still get dropped frames during playback.
  I’ve done everything recommended but it still happens.
  Running FCP HD4 on a G5.
  Is there any way at all that this can be avoided? i don’t mind watching jerky footage, it’s just for preview.
  However, i hate that bloody message popping up every 30secs (literally every 30secs) telling me to switch off unlimited RT blah blah….
  Hellp!!!!

  I used to spend my time wondering, now it’s all used up rendering.
