  Dropped Frame on Monitor hooked to Sony DSR 1500A

  I am getting random drop frames (1-4 black frames) when I print to tape. The dropped frames only shows up on the monitor I have hooked to the Sony deck, but not on the video mirrored on my desktop. Nor does FCP give me a dropped frame error. When I go back and look at the tape I mastered, I do not hear or see any audio or video dropout. I does not seem to effect the master but I would like to know what it is.
