droplets wont import to compressor

As far as I know you can’t. Droplets are specific to your machine, cluster, network etc.

If you want settings from somebody else, get them to send you a compressor setting and create a Droplet from there

The compression I am doing is from PAL assets, the droplets are done by someone who is in NTSC. Should this matter? I mean, I am compressing for web, it shouldn’t matter right?

Yes, if you can open and interpret them.

Yes it does matter, PAL and NTSC have different frame sizes and frame rates, you want to compress PAL to 25fps not 30fps, etc, keyframes and GOPs change too.

Doesn’t seem to me that it carries enough information, but what do I know.

To look inside a droplet, right click on it > Show Package Contents and find the Settings folder in Resources. In there drag your settings file onto TextEdit.

If you could copy and paste that here that would be great.

That setting appears to be for AVC (H.264) at 1920×1080 – not PAL.
