  Droplet to Object

  I may be going back a ways, but I seem to remember there being a tutorial on this forum on how to create an animation wherein an object is squeezed out of a faucet in the shape of a water drop, and one it is free of the faucet it pops into its original shape.

  does anybody remember this, or otherwise know of any good techniques for achieveing this effect? My original tests were not so successful.
