I changed my MacPro 2008 for a 2009, I installed Apple Fiber Channe 4Gbitl card, and the DeckLink Extreme, and now I can not play without constant interruptions to the drop frame warning. My drive has a data transfer rate over 300Mb/sec and this strikes me playing DV, DV50, uncompressed PAL or nay other format. I’ve tried all combinations of order PCIe slot and have a lot of ram to 8GB (4x2GB) properly installed.
I think something happens to the MacPro 2009 + FinalCut + Fiber Channel Drives, because my apple reseller has given me another MacPro 2009 and is the same. Any Idea?
    Thanks

The number one thing you need to do now is fix permissions on the system drive using Apple Disk Utility. Then report back…

Is it unrendered video? Are you playing rt unlimited?
Also, try turning off all overlays and maybe have lower quality playback settings. Which graphics card do you have?
