Drop Zone modifications.
Heres my problem.
I have a Motion template i made with drop zones that I am working with in Final Cut. In final cut i am going from a full screen into this template which is a 3up video template. There are 2 boxes on the left side that are 4:3 and the one on the right is configured so it is about 3:4. My problem is with the one on the right being 3:4. I need it to be this size but when i throw the video i want into the drop zone i need to size and move the video around in the 4:3 box so that my subjects are centered within the drop frame. I dont want to use the stretch or fit option because that will but the 4:3 image in the 3:4 box leaving black above and below… which sucks…or stretching the image out which is ugly. The center function cuts off too much and I need to adjust where the hosts will be in the oddly shaved 3:4 frame…how can i do this.
The project is very time sensitive so i am looking for the most efficient way to do this.
