Drop shadow on object behind but NOT background?
I was wondering how/if it is possible to have a drop shadow effect of one object onto another, but when rendered with an alpha channel not visible over the background (IE, no bleed off over top the layers). I am thinking along the lines of something like light linking in a 3d program.
I have made two objects and applied the drop shadow to it, would making actual lights be the only option or is there more to the drop shadow effect than meets the eye?
