    Hello,

    I am having trouble getting a drop shadow that is applied in Photoshop, to translate to Premiere correctly. I think it is something with the alpha channel, but I just can’t get it to work right. Here is an example:

    This is what the drop shadow is supposed to look like (referencing the faint white drop shadow behind the text):

    I then save the .psd out with the bg removed and alpha showing through with the drop shadow still on:

    But when it goes to Premiere, it shows up with a huge white drop shadow like this:

    I am using the 2019 version of both Pr and Ps. Thanks for the help!

    Try rasterizing and combining all layers in Photoshop first. Or export as a PNG.

    Check your sequence settings for the compositing option. Try un-checking “composite in linear color.”
