Drop Shadow not showing
I’ve added a text effect from a plug-in Lenofx. I’m trying to add in a drop shadow. I’ve done this many times, but for some reason the drop shadow is not showing.
The weird thing is that I see it split second if I quit FCPX then launch it again. I’ve trashed preferences, but no luck.
Any thoughts?

Does the effect affect the background? Blur it, color it, etc? Then there’s nothing to put the shadow on. It’s a full screen effect. But you should ask Leno or their support.

I’m going to guess that the appearing of the drop shadow is set to fade in or keyframe-in in some way. Or the timing for the effect-in doesn’t fit with the duration for the clip. Have you gone into the inspector for this effect and checked the sliders and timing?
