Drop Frames when capturing on capture drive
For a while now any footage I try to capture to my capture drive has dropped frames. The temp fix I was told to do was to capture to my desktop, then copy the footage onto the capture drive then delete the desktop footage. This has worked well but I’d like to know if there is a permanent fix.

How full is your capture drive? What kind of drive is it? What codec are you trying to capture?
We need more info.
