Drive connection to Mac
How are you connecting the removable drive from your Ki to your MacPro? We’re using the supplied Firewire cable, but I’m figuring that we should be able to use eSATA for faster transfers. Are the SATA connectors on the drive standard connectors for external SATA drives?

Yeah, but you’d need power to supply to the drive. fw800 is more convenient, and not sure if it’s all that much faster on a single spindle drive.
