  Drive array “un-mounting” from desktop…

  I’m Mac-based, am a CC subscriber. Still on OS 10.8.5 — all Adobe CC apps up to date.
  Using a 16 TB Areca Thunderbolt array with a Black Magic Ultra Studio Express. Zero problems for the ten months I’ve owned the system.
  All of a sudden, my Areca array would randomly “un-mount” itself from the desktop.
  After trying a fresh TB cable, the good people at Areca (Tekram USA) sent me a new enclosure — I swapped out the drives & same problem.
  Next, I disconnected the Belkin Thunderbolt port I’d been using, and that seemed to help. At least now I can edit, as the array seems stable. Latest issue is BM Ultra Studio Express losing connectivity.

  Any ideas?? thanks…
