DResolve Cut Page giving multiple camera angles by default…
Concerning the Cut page… I got this bunch of files recorded some time ago and while trying to derush using the edit page (with Speed Editor, if it can change anything to my issue), if I select the Source view, it seems Resolve doesn’t give me any choice but to have multicam function enabled with all my clips dispersed on several different cam angles even if everything was shot using the same camera at very different times.
I’m figuring it’s auto-syncing using something like the timecode and when 2 TCs match on different clips (even if recorder 2 days apart), Resolve concludes it’s ”2 cameras”. I tried re-syncing using the Audio but no success; still got like 7 angles.
And there is no ”ONE camera only” function anywhere.
The very annoying behavior is that while I’m going through my clips in Source view, it jumps from one clip to another that was shot at a very different time so I can’t Append that clip on the timeline without jumping in the ”real time of life” it was shot (all my clips are organised with name / ascending time of shooting in Media Pool).
I’d just like to un-do that multicam behavior and go through my clips in the order they are sitting in the Media Pool without jumping from one clip to another that’s 54 clips further simply because Resolve decided it was another ”angle”.
I hope I’m clear, I’s so exhausted of looking for settings/solutions/google/etc for like 8 hours now… good lord. Sorry about the rant part, and a MILLION thanks in advance if you got the solution !
