    Hi,
can someone help. I am new to webdesign. Each time I insert a swf or flv to one of my pages, when I view in windows explorer, I see a message “contents on the page requires a newer version of adobe flash player plus the adobe logo to get flash player.
I have the newest players installed.
I want to completely take this away from the design code.
Can anyone tell me what parts of the code to delete or how I can stop this being from being added to my web pages.
On my index page I’ve type a description, If my videos don’t play please download newer versions of the flash player. Thanks Kelvin

it depends how you embed/palce your swf in the html.
if you used dreamweaver to Insert –> Media –> SWF,

then it would generate the code. look in the code in either Split or Design view, locate the ‘alternate content’ lines of code, and remove them. they are highlighted below:

Thanks a lot this works perfectly by deleting the lines you highlighted, and I’ve got no errors in my code, thanks again, Kelvin
