April 11, 2012 at 2:27 pmHDP2 also needs to be for 444 RGB.
I can take a screen grab of the settings later. If you look at the status menu of the Dreamcolor, it will say the dreamcolor engine is on if the hdp2 is setup correctly.

April 11, 2012 at 2:56 pmYes I have the HDP2 set to 444 RGB,
Deep Color is ON
RGB Range = SMPTE
Scale = 1:1
SD Format = Normal
Standard = Native
Frame Rate = 23.98 or change to current project setting
HDMI/DVI = HDMIIf I switch the monitor input it will show the status for a few seconds. Color Gamut Remapping is on, however I don’t see anything saying “dreamcolor engine on” not clear if I need to send Full RGB range from HDP2 to dream color then the monitor converts to REC 709? Or have both monitor and HDP2 set to SMPTE/REC 709

October 5, 2013 at 12:50 pmHi,
they appear to be two different calibration tools for the Dreamcolor and for the lack of finding a more suitable forum I posted a question about them in the Flanders Scientific forum. I was hoping maybe someone here knows about the differences between them and is able to help me out.The link to the original post is https://forums.creativecow.net/readpost/286/460
Thanks to anyone who might have some insight!
